Baylor recently redid our old wooden deck that was in bad shape. He was easy to communicate with, gave us a fair price, and was able to start and complete the project super fast. We spend a ton of time on our deck and it was long overdue for a refresh, and we love the new deck that feels much sturdier and looks a lot better as well. Would definitely work with Raffensberger Construction again.

He’s terrific and he’s very very experienced at what he does.. He did a great job power washing and staining my deck and it looks brand new!
We had a great experience with Baylor and his team for our backyard enclosed garden project. We have a lot of wildlife due to living on the edge of woods (deer, groundhogs, raccoons, etc.), so gardening is a challenge without a proper enclosed space.
The project came together quickly with good communication, planning, craftsmanship, and professionalism. We had fairly specific parameters around the type of wood (cedar) as well as the dimensions, and the maximum growing space and light exposure allowable by the structure. They were very accommodating throughout the process.
It was also fun watching them build it with the level of precision you would expect from professional deck builders. Our yard isn't flat anywhere so regrading and proper leveling was important for the build and for growing with maximum yield: you don't want slanted raised beds as that creates water starvation uphill and drowning downhill.
Overall we're very satisfied. And we're in there almost every day, which is the mark of a good structure. Highly recommend.

Baylor Raffensperger has performed work both at my home and at an investment property. After major renovation of the investment property I e kitchen and bath remodel by Raffensperger, I was able to sell the property at a much increased price. Being a realtor I have experienced working with many contractors. I found Baylor to be conscientious, capable and the project was completed very timely. I would rate the work as 5-star.
